“I dream of a foreign school in which children from multi-cultural families can learn, even if they do not have money,” said the Egyptian Minister Plenipotentiary Head of the Missionambassador to Korea, Mr. Ihab Tahoun. “While the Minister Plenipotentiary Head’sambassadorial families invest approximately $ 30,000 a year per child for education, many multi-cultural families have faced a difficult living conditions in order status to give their children enough education,” he added.
In Egypt, about 3,000 Koreans are working in the construction area and about 500 Koreans are living in Egypt including university students, company workers, and educatorses working at special government agencies.
“The safety status of Korea is very good and I respect it. Most Koreans have a good sense of the law-abiding. I would like to define Korea as a powerful country rather than a rich one,” he said. “Active help nationwide active help that makes for foreign workers and marriage migrants to have a better working and living environment and to safely settle down in Korea may be the best way for the nation to lift up itstheir national image,” said Mr. Tahoun. “And there shall not be any support or help toward illegal immigration,” he reiterated.
