Ferdinand Renz. Interview of Germany peace diplomat
Special aspect of Korea refinding traditional culture.
I had an interview with Ferdinand Renz who is peace diplomat of Germany at
Millenium Hilton Hotel on September 20th(Thu). Mr.Ferdinand, who has been living for 8 years, told me "I think that two aspects of Korea they refind and restudy their traditional culture and try to find their stem of soul and ancestry are special"
He pointed out two uncomfortable things in Korea. One is that buses are pass by the bus stop if there is no passenger. Another one is that Korean people spend too much money on drinking alcohol, because they have a custom suggesting alcohol a lot.
Also, he advised that Korea should always ready to welcome foreigners for developing of multicultural community. In addition, he said when we do the entry procedure and check the luggages, we should set up special science equipments and not discriminate on ground of race so that foreigners from various country can come to Korea easily and making them comfortable.
He also advised me that we need more comfortable public traffics and cheap accomodations that tourist can use even outside the city, setting up more English sign all over for reducing inconvenience of moving, that's why foreigners in Korea are increasing every year.
With the finishing of this interview, he said that I knew the sickness of Korea from division of nation, because Germany also underwent division of sickness by West Germany and East Germany, so I wish problem of reunion with North Korea to be solved well.
