On March 25, 2024, a special event was held at the Embassy of Belarus in Korea to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the creation of the modern Belarusian diplomatic service.
Representatives of the diplomatic mission in Korea and representatives of the Korean media and cultural community attended the event.
Belarusian Ambassador to Korea Andrei Chernetsky welcomed the audience with a welcoming speech, and prior to the event, a moment of silence was held to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attack that occurred at the Moscow Concert Hall on March 22, 2024.
In his speech, the Belarusian Ambassador to Korea explained the great journey that the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken since its establishment and the history of diplomatic relations between Belarus and the Republic of Korea.
He also emphasized the important role of diplomacy in today's geopolitical situation and the importance of dialogue and joint efforts among all countries to solve global challenges.
